By accessing, downloading, or using PowerCalc GH, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. PowerCalc GH is a free tool designed to help you calculate how long your prepaid electricity units will last based on your appliance usage in Ghana. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
2. Use License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PowerCalc GH for your own private, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the application
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any part of the application
- Use the application for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the application or its systems
3. No Data Collection
PowerCalc GH does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. All calculations are performed locally on your device. We do not track your electricity usage, appliance selections, or any other information you input into the application. Your data remains entirely private and under your control.
4. Disclaimer
PowerCalc GH and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any calculations. The application is intended as a general estimation tool only. Actual electricity consumption may vary based on factors including appliance age, condition, settings, and usage patterns.
5. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PowerCalc GH and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application. This includes any loss of data, revenue, or financial benefit resulting from reliance on the calculations provided. The estimates generated are for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for official electricity bills or meter readings.
6. Accuracy of Information
We strive to provide accurate appliance wattage data and calculation methods. However, the application may contain occasional technical errors or outdated information. Electricity tariffs in Ghana change frequently, and your actual costs may differ from our estimates. PowerCalc GH reserves the right to update or change content at any time without notice.
7. Third-Party Links
PowerCalc GH may contain links to external websites, including the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) Ghana for tariff information. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any linked third-party sites. Use of any linked website is at your own risk, and we recommend reviewing their privacy policies and terms of service independently.
8. Modifications to Terms
PowerCalc GH may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the application. By continuing to use the application after changes are posted, you agree to the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
9. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for using PowerCalc GH in a lawful and appropriate manner. Since all processing occurs locally on your device, you have full control over your data. You agree not to use the application to cause harm, infringe on copyrights, or interfere with others' access to the service.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes arising from your use of PowerCalc GH shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
