PowerCalc GH is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle (or rather, how we do not handle) your personal information when you use our electricity unit calculator application. We believe privacy is a fundamental right, and our approach is simple: we do not collect, store, or transmit your data.

PowerCalc GH collects and stores absolutely no personal data. We do not collect:

2. How Your Data Is Processed

All calculations performed by PowerCalc GH occur entirely on your device. When you input your prepaid credit amount, select appliances, or adjust settings, this processing happens locally in the application. No data is sent to our servers, to third parties, or anywhere else. Once you close the application, no record of your calculations is retained unless you choose to save it yourself.

3. Third-Party Services

PowerCalc GH does not integrate with third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking tools. The application does not communicate with external servers except when you explicitly choose to visit linked resources (such as PURC Ghana's official website for tariff information). Any such visits are governed by those websites' own privacy policies.

4. Your Rights and Control

Because PowerCalc GH does not collect your data, there is nothing for us to store, use, or delete. You have complete control over all information that exists on your device. If you uninstall the application, any local data associated with it is removed. You do not need to contact us to request deletion of your data because we never possessed it in the first place.

5. Transparency Commitment

We are 100% transparent: PowerCalc GH will never sell, rent, or share your information because we do not collect it. We will not use your data for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or any form of surveillance. Our business model is based on providing a useful, free tool—not monetizing your information. If we ever change this approach, we will clearly announce it in a publicly visible manner and provide you with advance notice.

6. Security

Since PowerCalc GH does not collect or transmit your data, traditional data security measures are not applicable. Your calculations remain on your device, protected only by your device's own security features. We recommend keeping your device and operating system updated with the latest security patches.

7. Children's Privacy

PowerCalc GH does not target or knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we collect no data from anyone, this protection is automatic. Parents and guardians can use the application with confidence knowing that their children's privacy is fully protected.

8. Legal Compliance

PowerCalc GH is designed to comply with international privacy regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Ghana's Data Protection Act. Our privacy-by-design approach means we naturally satisfy these regulations without requiring complex consent mechanisms or policy notices—because we collect no personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes that affect how we handle your data (though this is unlikely given our current approach), we will notify you by posting the updated policy within the application or on our website. By continuing to use PowerCalc GH after such changes, you agree to the updated policy.
